Our Story

Originally from Indonesia and Sri Lanka, Yuni and Sahan Warnakulasuriya were college sweethearts who met in Wichita, Kansas in the summer of 1999, and have been inseparable ever since. In 2005, we moved to California to pursue our dreams, and we currently reside in Orange County, CA, with our 8-year old Jindo mix, Amanda. 

We both share the passions to travel, cook, eat (spicy food is always a plus!), drink boba teas, try new food and spices, and learn various kinds of recipes (try the "Seasonings Spice" section for some of our custom-made blends!). From our previous work experiences, together we have more than 15 years of experience in the spice/food industry, having to work directly with local restaurants, local businesses and distributors. In November 2014, we decided to open our own online spice and trading company, and are excited to bring in new products as we grow our company.
